GO BIG WITH NORTHERN ARIZONA UNIVERSITY’S PHYSICAL THERAPY CLASS OF 2013 AT THE 5TH ANNUAL GO BIG FOR PARKINSON’S WALK/RUN!

Saturday, October 15, 2011

The Go BIG For Parkinson’s 10K/5K/2K Run/Walk is aimed at promoting awareness of and raising funds for the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment© (LSVT) BIG Program. BIG is a documented, effective physical therapy intervention that improves the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease.

We will be offering a 10K run and a 5K/2K walk/run this year.  Come join us for food and drinks after the race to offer support for our Parkinson's patients participating in the race this year!

Our Goals for Go BIG For Parkinson's Disease walk/run:

  • Increase Parkinson’s awareness
  • Have fun
  • Increase community involvement
  • BIG turnout at the race
  • Top last year’s charitable donation and raise $12,000 for the treatment of people with Parkinson's disease
